Marco Arrigo, Professor Jonathan Morris AND Mulmar Foodservice Solutions ran an event on Tuesday 16th February 2016 or Wednesday 17th February 2016 at the famous Bar Termini in London.
The Faema E61 was the centre of attention as the coffee machine that changed the world.
Marco, Head of Quality for illy, Head of illy University and owner of bar Termini demonstrated how to make the most of this wondrous machine to produce the best coffee in the bar industry.
Renowned historian of Italian espresso, Professor Jonathan Morris from the University of Hertfordshire, explained the evolution of the E61 and its impact upon Italian coffee culture, using materials from the Faema and Mumac archives.
We had a fantastic turnout of journalists and baristas from the industry – all of whose eyes were glued to the presentation and fantastic coffee making.
With such a high level of interest Mulmar, Marco Arrigo and Professor Morris are looking to run these events again…..potentially at London Coffee Festival…watch this space…

The Gentlemen Baristas have several coffee shops around London. Mulmar have been working with this unique coffee house to supply and install their coffee machines. More recently Gentlemen Baristas has a restoration project with Mulmar where we have taken an antique Faema E61 Legend and are sprucing it up for them in our workshop…follow the storyboard here…
